The ULTRABRITE PL coating system manufactured by Titan Coatings, Inc. is the highest performing coil coating designed specifically for lighting fixture applications. The proprietary, refractive, index-modified polymer formulation has been upgraded and improved, and a special wax has been incorporated into the formula. As a result, ULTRABRITE PL  has a much harder surface than ULTRABRITE ST and is more resistant to hardness of the film. The coating system still maintains excellent flexibility and has our special adhesion modifier to ensure good adhesion to all substrates. A special optical grade of TiO2 (titanium dioxide) is used for optimal whiteness, brightness, and total visible light reflectance. ULTRABRITE PL is uniquely formulated to facilitate trouble-free, high-line speed and high-dry film thickness coil processing.

COMMERCIAL

ULTRABRITE PL provides the highest reflectivity available at the lowest application films resulting in superior economics and can be formulated in a range of glosses as required. Coating can be applied single coat, “split coat,” or over primer, and works well on a wide variety of metal substrates including: aluminum, HDG, ZnAl, cold rolled, and stainless steels. ULTRABRITE PL has consistent zero-T formability and is powder and liquid re-coatable. The paint film is non-yellowing and has excellent U.V. and heat resistance, making it a preferred choice for lighting reflector, housing, and cabinet applications.
